Reimagine, Redesign & Refine

What We Do

At Manders Realty, we maximise the potential of ordinary houses located in the UK's economic hubs by transforming

them into beautifully designed co-living spaces for high-

end tenants. These boutique co-living homes are classified

as HMOs under UK planning laws.

1. Reimagine

We purchase houses in desirable locations which have the potential to create beautiful homes. Our tenants don’t need to compromise, they can enjoy an elevated lifestyle in an ideal location.

2. Redesign

We reconfigure the layout of houses to craft well-functioning and beautifully desgined co-living spaces. To ensure the house is suitable for multiple tenants it also requires careful planning and adaptations to comply with building regulations and specific HMO licensing requirements.

3. Refine

The property is meticulously renovated to a high specification, meeting all relevant health & safety regulations and HMO licensing standards, and, of equal importance, bringing enjoyment to our tenants who wish to live there.

Our Business Model

We apply the process of ‘buy, refurbish, rent, refinance, repeat’ to continually grow our portfolio and maximise returns.

The newly refurbished HMOs are commercially revalued and re-financed, leveraging their appreciation, and securing more favourable financing terms. This allows us to reward our valued investor partners, and to re-invest in new homes that our tenants would love.

What is an HMO?

HMO stands for ‘House in Multiple Occupation’. It refers to a home that is let to multiple individuals who share a common living space. Each individual will have their own bedroom with ensuites or compact kitchens, but typically they share spaces like a kitchen, living room, and outdoor space.

HMOs can cater to individuals who are seeking a balance between private living and social interaction, often in bustling urban areas. They are designed to address modern housing challenges like rising costs, limited space, and a limited supply of houses to let.
